영화 스펙터(SPECTRE)가 국내에서 개봉된 이후 이제 우리는 첩보원 제임스 본드의 최근 모험에 대해서 더 많은 것을 알게 되었다. 이 영화는 멕시코 시티에서의 화려한 ‘죽은 자들의 날’ 행사와 숨막히는 헬리콥터 비행장면으로 시작한다. 그리고 영원한 도시 로마의 밤 장면들, 오스트리아의 눈 덮인 알프스의 협곡을 비행하는 장면들, 뜨거운 사하라 사막의 잔잔한 공허, 그리고 세계의 와인 중심지라 할 수 있는 템스 강이 있는 런던이 등장한다. 물론 샴페인 볼랭저도!
Secret Agent 007 is out… and the Cork too!
Now, after the release of SPECTRE here in Korea, we finally know more about secret agent James Bond’s latest adventure. The film starts with the colourful Day of the Death in Mexico City and breath-taking helicopter flights. Then there are scenes in the Eternal City, Rome, at night, there are spectacular flights in narrow Alpine valleys in snowbound landscapes in Austria, there is the calming emptiness of the hot Sahara desert, and there is the wine-capital of the world, London, with its river Thames. And there is Champagne BOLLINGER!

A bottle of BOLLINGER R. D. 2002 is discreetly displayed in two scenes with James Bond in SPECTRE. In the first witty scene James Bond gives away such a bottle. In the vaults of the British Secret Service where James Bond usually receives his elaborate equipment as special agent 007 by Q, he is denied this very particular car, the specifically designed Aston Martin DB10. Instead he just gets an OMEGA watch that can also tell the time. But it would not be for James Bond so he takes possession of the car and leaves the surprised Q with this great bottle of BOLLINGER R. D. 2002 as a gift to comfort himself.

The second champagne scene takes place in a noble villa in Rome. After having done his job in the gardenJames Bond pours a glass of BOLLINGER R. D. 2002 to his first “Bond lady” (Monica Bellucci as the widow of Bond’s first opponent in the film)and enjoys a glass himself. He then introduces himself to her with his famous words “My name is Bond, James Bond”. This glass of BOLLINGER R. D. 2002 is the start to a night full of romance…. and probably more champagne BOLLINGER!

Following the historical production method applied by Champagne BOLLINGER the grape juices have been fermented in small old oak barrels. After bottling, the second fermentation and slow maturation occurred in bottles closed with cork stoppers to preserve freshness of the wines while protecting them against oxidation. This exclusive champagne comes encased in an elegant but robust gift box in black metal. Most probably the box and its content would survive the turbulent helicopter-flights in the Mexico-scene…. <Champagne BOLLINGER>
This famous house was founded in 1829 in the village of Aÿ in the Champagne region in France by the nobleman Athanase Hennequin de Villermont, Paul Renaudin and Jacques Bollinger to become later the house of BOLLINGER. It is known for its extensive own vineyard holdings which is very unusual in the champagne industry, thus giving the possibility to control champagne production right from the growing of the wines onwards. The style of the champagnes of the house of BOLLINGER is marked with the first fermentation of the “vins clairs”, the base wines, in small used oak barrels, and slow, long and controlled oxidative maturation in magnum bottles using cork stoppers. This gives the wines a huge aging potential and creates highly complex aromas. Champagne BOLLINGER is considered as one of the best champagne houses in the world with an excellent reputation for all the champagnes of its range. Champagne BOLLINGER is proudly owned by members of the BOLLINGER family.
